I bought a black pair of these,slightly to big at 9,they went really shit after a month.But they stayed at that level for 3 years.I wore them until the “energy wave”fell out.Then a fashion concious friend got rid of his white/yellow/purple ones.I dyed them black into the mid 90’s.Then I searched out other boots and stuck with Nike/adidas in the early 2000.ERXs were the DMs of trainers.Stick a load of laces in ‘em,feet like breezeblocks.

Understanding the keeping clean part. I tend to go for
off white, grey colours now, i can never keep white one’s clean. The more i try the dirtier they get !!

Tight fit at first, even for the wide sizes, but within a few days they formed to my feet felt great. These are very light weight and comfortable.

Great shoe! But keep in mind everybody has their own needs. I recommend that new runners visit a shoe store that specializes in running shoes prior to selecting. This will help ensure you are properly equipped.

I use to have a pair of the fila yak velcro strap sandals that I had for about 8 years (I wore them down flat).I’m currently looking for another pair.any possible suggestions?

Yeah – I’ll post some pictures of them up on Flickr. I got the link to this site off that. Nice to know someone has the same tastes as me and takes the time to capture it on camera!

Hemley’s is still going strong – I buy my skate decks from there, although the strong Aussie $ is making it tough for the local indys to compete with the internet prices.

@ben – cool, yeah a m8 of mine picked his up in about 2005 in melbourne too – in hemleys I think. since then theres been nothing but that limited release of the DV9s and a few end of line DV8s floating around on ebay – i think they must be from that 2004/5 drop. recently bagged myself (6 months back) a pair of white/black.

There are some green and red ones too – they might be what you have, its more grey/green and black/red if anything.

Hi all – these are such sick shoes and I’m so fortunate to have a pair in all the colourways – Black, Grey and White. They re-released them about 5 years ago. I picked the black ones up in Soho in London in 2004 but the store subsequently closed down. The grey ones I also bought in London in 2005. You could get the white ones here in Melbourne around the same time but I haven’t seen them for ages.
