Looks like they took a lot cues from the Etnies Uptown, a little taller back at the heel, and a lot less of the brand etnieness on the back too. Love the sole pattern. As ever a few different colors and material combos have dropped, I think this is the best of the bunch I’ve seen so far.
These shoes go hard! been kicking them about for 4 months now, and still going strong. the G2 foam insole which is the kind of thing I always kill is still going strong and shows little sign of wear, the rough leather on the heel is really hard wearing as is the white leather upper.
There is something very special about a pair of boxfresh white sneaks, it’s been too long since I had a pair to worry about ‘keeping clean’. These feel like a real skate shoe, an elastic tongue keeper and padded tongue, I guess if I had gone for the nubuck they might last a little longer 
enjoying the honeymoon.
A few things that have caught my eye over the past weeks:
Skink Mid, a nice mid top retro from Vans
Vans Rowdy, another vans release, in a somewhat higher cut – classic.
Adidas Mastermind Hardland, they disappeared quicker than a pair of limited release dunks, gone in a flash the day they were released on crooked, now just a memory crooked blog post. as ever with the limited released the photos make them look dam good…
