Nike have converted one of their basketball classics into high-top street wear. The auto flight is styled on the classic Nike flight lite but with a vulcanized rubber out sole, to which the shoe owes it’s name derived from the autoclave used in the manufacture.
It’s been a couple of months since release and almost a year since the initial announcement about the skytop II. They have kind of grown on me, I’ve got a couple of pairs of the original skytop, but I wasn’t a fan when I first saw the initial marketing material for the ‘2s’ – super hitops that looks like Inline skates without the wheels and Jordan style tongue holes in purple felt made for a bizarre combination, the 2010 line is way more promising: they also just announced a skytop 2 tuf release in white. who’d skate them chad?
